Q: How do I book my induction with Watford Affordable Fitness?

Q. £14.99 per month is much lower than any other gym in the area, what is the catch?
A. There is no catch!

Q. Is there a contract?
A. There is a minimum contract of just 3 months.

Q. How much is the Admin fee and what is it for?
A. The admin fee is a 'one off' £25 charge to cover the setup costs of your membership.

Q. What is the enhancement fee?
A. Once a year on the 1st October, we charge a club enhancement fee of £14.99 to every member. This money is invested exclusively in improvements to the club. This ensures that you continue to benefit from a well maintained, superbly equipped facility.

Q. Do you offer a no quibble, money back guarantee?
A. Yes we do. We are so confident that you will see the value we are offering, that within 7 days of joining you don't like the club, we will refund your first £14.99 payment and your £25 admin fee.

Q. Can I come and have a look at the club before joining?
A. You are welcome to come in for a tour of our facilities, please call the club on 0800 458 1275 so we can ensure someone is available to show you around.

Q. If I join the gym today, when can I start training?
A. You need to complete an induction before you can use our gym. We’ll arrange an induction with you at mutually convenient time.

Q. What type of induction will I need?
A. If you are an experienced trainer you can have a fast track induction which will take approximately 15 mins. For beginners and inexperienced trainers a full induction will take an hour and covers correct use of our equipment so you get the most out of it.

Q. What do I need to do for my gym induction?
A. Please come with your trainers, tracksuit bottoms, T-shirt and a sweat towel. Changing rooms and lockers are provided. You will also need to complete a medical questionnaire before your induction.   

Q. Will I be issued with a membership card?

A. Yes. You will be issued with a membership card on your first visit to the club.

Q. Are there changing facilities at the club?
A. Yes, we provide showers, lockers and toilets.

Q. Are lockers provided FOC?
A. Yes, you will need a pound coin, but you do get it back.

Q. Does the facility have a pool, sauna or Jacuzzi?
A. For £14.99 there are some things we just can't offer!

Q. Are studio classes included in my £14.99 monthly fee?
A. Absolutely!

Q. Are there a good range of classes on the programme?
A. We offer a great studio programme, see for yourself on our timetable.

Q. Is personal training available?
A. Yes we have qualified personal trainers at the club, who will provide a range of one-to-one and group sessions for more details click here.

Q. Are their any membership concessions for students, over 60’s, job seekers, joint memberships or corporate discounts?
A. We know that our membership fees are the best value in the area, so there is no discount on the monthly rate. Non-member concessions are available, see question the below.

Q. Can non-members use the club?
A. Non-members can only use classes. They will pay the current non-member fee for entry. Concessions are available for students, over 60’s and job seekers on proof of entitlement. Call reception for more details on 01923 353607.
