Watford YMCA have been appointed as Lead Agency for 2 of Hertfordshire County Council’s new Surestart Children’s Centres now being established around the county. Children’s Centres are central to the Government’s 10 year strategy to deliver better outcomes for children.
The centres offer a range of services to support families with children under 5 years old, for example, stay and play sessions, baby massage, baby sign and parenting support, and work in partnership with local schools and their extended services, the NHS and a number of private therapists.

The first of our centres is Littlebury Children’s Centre in Mildred Ave. Telephone 01923 243564.
Littlebury is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We do not open on Bank Holidays.

Both centres offer a monthly newsletter to parents registered with them to keep them up to date with future events.
