Following an initial assessment and an agreement with each resident a support plan is devised that is tailored to their specific needs.
Staff are available to signpost residents to appropriate agencies and healthcare professionals to ensure that they receive specialist advice and support. This may include guidance on their benefit entitlement, physical and mental health, life and social skills and any possible substance misuse.
We offer both practical and emotional support within a holistic framework and aim to make our resident's transition to independent living as effortless as possible.
To help integrate our residents and avoid their isolation we have regular social events including fellowship meetings, coffee mornings, quizzes, trips to a bowling alley and the cinema, days out on a narrow boat on the Grand Union Canal and to the coast.
Our staff are committed to a client-centred approach with the emphasis on client welfare and dignity. We value client input and continue to monitor the quality of our service delivery with regular resident's meetings, exit interviews, questionnaires, client reviews, one to one feedback and resident focus groups.
