Nursery Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to lead our successful 94 place full day care nursery situated in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
effectively lead and manage a team of 30 staff, offering a professional and supportive environment
ensure policies, procedures and curriculum are implemented and adhered to at all times
keep abreast of current early childhood thinking and trends
effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels
be influential in developing strong relationships with parent

To be considered for this position you will need:

NNEB, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Knowledge of OFSTED standards and experience of inspections
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of current childcare legislation, National Standards and the EYFS framework
Previous demonstrable management experience in order to fulfil the responsibilities of this role
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to lead, manage and motive others
Strategic focus with the ability to develop and implement long term goals and link to day to day activities
Ability to plan and manage finances and budgets effectively
To be proactive, professional and committed to building strong relationships with parents and staff
Be willing to undertake learning and development appropriate to the post.

Charters Health Club

Lead Sports Coaches
(qualified at NGB Level 2 or above)
required for the Watford, Abbots Langley and St Albans areas

We are increasing our sports and fitness coaching programmes and have a range of opportunities available working both at our health club centres above and also off site.

Hours are variable and will depend on the type of programme being delivered. This may be 1 or 2 hours per week during term time, however this may increase and additional work will normally be available during the school holidays.

So come and join us and be part of our developing coaching team.

Rate of Pay - £14.00 per hour
